As a support worker in our Rapid Active Support Project, you will be providing care and support to service users following a stay in hospital to enable them to regain skills and confidence within their own homes for a short period of time, generally up to 6 weeks.
What you need to know:
Location: Belfast
Salary: £12.20ph
Contract: Full Time & Part time hours available
Shift Times: Monday – Sunday (days, evenings & weekends up to 11pm)

What the role entails:
- To prepare for the return home to include basic shopping, collecting prescriptions and ensuring the home is sufficiently heated and comfortable.
- To actively encourage and work with the person to restore the confidence and skills they require for independent living in their own home
- To work with the person and restore skills in looking after their own personal care
- To carry out any other relevant duties as per care plans
- What We Need from You:
- At least 1 years paid experience in a caring role
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Full Driving licence and access to a car as part of the job requirements
